North Edinburgh Dementia Centre

This front garden was lacking in either impact or usability. The clients requested that the space should be wheelchair accessible with raised beds, more privacy and bright colours!

Resin bound gravel was used to provide a firm, water permeable  surface for wheelchairs, and benches were introduced into the sunny areas. A gate was included for safety purposes and Beech hedging planting around the boundary fence to provide privacy. Planting was completed by the clients.

Whilst the design process was limited somewhat by metal pillars and several manholes, the clients were delighted with the final design proposal.
