Nature Garden, Edinburgh
This client was at a loss with what to do with the overgrown concrete jungle that had been inherited when they moved into the property. They were very keen for a naturalistic and wildlife friendly garden, constructed using natural materials where possible
Straight lines were replaced with curves to widen the space, and sustainably sourced Scottish Larch was used for the structure of the retainer and steps. A wildflower turf was also laid in place of standard lawn.
The planting used a palette especially selected to add structure, attract wildlife and offer year-round interest.
