This client was very happy with the existing layout of their garden, however they felt that it was a bit tired and were unsure how to update it. They were happy to carry out the work themselves but needed a bit of guidance as to what to do.
Following a consultation visit, a survey was carried out, scale drawings produced, and a mood board created to give them a plan to work against.
New planting beds were proposed to offer more privacy and enclosure as well as wind protection for the exposed patio area, whilst a new path and archway were introduced to guide the eye towards the ‘secret room’ at the end of the garden where the summer house is located.
Advice on current planting and suggestions on replacement plants to fill gaps was also provided.
